The idea of “Empty Spaces” started when I was in my final year of college. I wanted to tell stories about small instances that blend into each other. There are spaces around us we see and experience everyday but we don’t stop to think much of it. In my work I wanted to focus on the small moments and the seemingly meaningless spaces. I wanted to create moods and atmospheres that can delve into something deeper. Because sometimes it’s the small forgotten moments that can get bigger and leave a lasting impression.
I also wanted to focus on the silence that comes after an event. Once everything is over, there is a sudden quiet that surrounds you.
“Finally, its over” or “Can’t believe its over already”
